Milton families looking to keep kids active this fall can now sign up for the town's Youth Indoor Basketball clinic, with six Sunday sessions starting Sept. 13.
Milton Parks and Recreation posted the registration announcement on Monday, Aug. 17. Spots are available through the department's online catalog and cost $100 per participant.
The clinic runs on Sundays: Sept. 13, 20 and 27, and Oct. 4, 18 and 25. Two grade-level sessions are offered each week:
- Grades K–1: 9–10:15 a.m.
- Grades 2–3: beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The six-week format gives younger players a structured introduction to basketball skills without the commitment of a full-season league. Families can register online at any time through the rec1.com portal; no in-person sign-up is required.
The program is separate from Milton Outdoor Basketball, which opened its own registration on Aug. 14 at a higher price point of $140. That outdoor program targets a wider age range and runs on a different schedule. Families interested in both can find each listed in the same rec1.com catalog.
Milton Access TV shared the announcement on Instagram on Monday, Aug. 17, urging residents to register before spots fill.
