Five Milton polling locations open at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, for the Massachusetts State Primary.

Polls close at 8 p.m.

The town's 10 precincts (plus Precinct 4A) are spread across five buildings. Here is where each precinct votes, according to the Milton Times and the town's official election page:

Tucker School, Blue Hills Parkway — Precincts 1 and 10

Milton Senior Center, Walnut Street — Precincts 2, 4 and 4A

Cunningham Park Community Center, Edge Hill Road — Precincts 3 and 7

Cunningham School Gymnasium, Edge Hill Road — Precincts 6 and 8

Copeland Field House, Milton High School, Gile Road — Precincts 5 and 9

Voters unsure of their precinct can look it up using the Massachusetts Secretary of State's online tool.

Sample ballots

The town has posted specimen ballots on its election page. Precincts 1, 2 and 4A share one set of Democratic and Republican ballots. Precincts 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 share a separate set. Specimen ballots for Precincts 5 and 10 were not listed on the page as of Thursday, Aug. 27.

Key deadlines have passed

The voter registration deadline was Saturday, Aug. 22. The last day to request an early vote-by-mail ballot was Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 5 p.m. Voters who missed both windows can still cast a ballot in person on Election Day.
