Tickets for Winterlights at Canton's Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 14, at noon, with the outdoor light display opening Friday, Nov. 27.
The Trustees of Reservations announced the annual event will run Wednesdays through Sundays from Nov. 27 through Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027. Thousands of lights will illuminate the estate's mansion, forest and gardens. Trustees members get early ticket access before the Oct. 14 public sale.
Timed tickets must be purchased in advance. None will be sold on-site.
Adult tickets cost $32 for nonmembers and $27 for Trustees members, according to the event's program page. Children ages 3 to 15 pay $15 for nonmembers and $10 for members. Children 2 and under get in free.
The event also offers Value Nights on Wednesdays and Thursdays through Dec. 17, plus Dec. 28–30, when adults 16 and older receive a discounted rate. The specific Value Night price was not listed.
Families get an extra break during the final stretch. All children 15 and under receive free admission from Monday, Dec. 28, through Saturday, Jan. 2, during Family Value Nights.
The estate will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 but will stay open Dec. 21, 22, 28 and 29, as well as New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 2027.
Sensory-friendly session set for Dec. 13
A Sensory-Friendly Hour is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 13. That session limits the number of tickets sold, lowers the music volume and offers an earlier arrival time with remaining daylight. Organizers will provide a social narrative, Know-Before-You-Go materials and a limited supply of sensory-friendly kits. Guests are encouraged to bring headphones or other support materials.
What to know before you go
The walk through the property takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour. The first floor of the Bradley Estate mansion is part of the event pathway, though no guided tours are offered during Winterlights.
The event runs rain or shine. Heavy snow or unsafe conditions would cancel that day's event, with ticket holders notified by email and offered a refund or rebooking.
The trail is not wheelchair or stroller accessible because of stairs and uneven terrain. Guests with accessibility questions can email [email protected]. Dogs are not permitted on the grounds.
A retail gift shop will be open during the event, with Trustees members receiving 10% off purchases. Concessions will include hot cocoa, spiced cider and handcrafted desserts.
Groups larger than 10 should contact Elena Gauthier at [email protected] for booking details.
The Bradley Estate is located at 2468B Washington St. (Route 138) in Canton, with parking for about 75 cars. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a different date or time.
