Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., according to the Town of Milton's election page. Voters will choose a governor, a U.S. senator and other state and federal officeholders. Several statewide ballot questions are also on the ballot.

Mail-in ballots: two deadlines to know
Voters who still have a mail-in ballot have two options, according to town records.
The first is the drop box at Town Hall, 525 Canton Ave., at the accessible side entrance. Ballots must be in the box by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The second is the mail. Ballots postmarked by Nov. 3 and received by 5 p.m. on Nov. 6 will still be counted. The Town Clerk's Office will post the time, date and location for that count on the town website at least three days in advance.
Bring ID, just in case
The town advises voters may be asked to show identification if they are voting for the first time, voting for the first time in Massachusetts, have an inactive registration or have a challenged ballot.
