Canton's Conservation Commission takes up five wetland permit cases this coming Wednesday, Aug. 12 — just five days from now — covering a riverfront sewer repair, drainage work near Reservoir Pond, and residential construction close to protected wetlands.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Tavern Room at Pequitside Farm, 79 Pleasant St., and is open to the public. The full agenda includes three new filings and two cases carried over from last month.
Three new projects up for review.
The Canton Public Works Department wants to repair a sewer pipe near the riverfront using a trenchless method, working within protected wetland buffer zones — a request reviewed under a lighter process since the town believes the work likely won't significantly disturb the area. Colantuoni Bros., Corp. is seeking approval to repair a drainage pipe and replace a headwall near Reservoir Pond. And homeowner Cary Will wants to demolish a detached garage and build a home addition within 100 feet of protected wetland.
Two cases still pending from July.
Filings from Michael Llewellyn and BBG Realty LLC, both first reviewed July 22, return for continued discussion; no additional project details were included in the posted agenda.

The commission will also weigh two requests for Certificates of Compliance — confirming past projects were completed according to approved plans. One covers a rebuilt single-family home near wetland on York Street; the other covers a new home, driveway, septic system and stormwater setup on Green Lane.
