The Canton School Committee meets Thursday, July 30, at 6 p.m. at the Rodman Early Childhood Program's CHS Distance Learning Lab, 960 Washington St. The meeting is open to the public.

The specific agenda for the session had not been posted to the district's website as of press time. Families can check cantonma.org under the School Committee section for the agenda, minutes, and meeting materials once posted.

The meeting follows the committee's July 23 session and comes as construction on the new William H. Galvin Middle School continues. The Canton building committee posted August and September meeting dates for that project on Tuesday, July 28.

The committee is chaired by Kimberly McCourt. Superintendent Derek Folan leads the district's six schools, which enrolled 3,314 students as of October 2025.
